Our Department
The Jeffersonville Police Department is organized into three primary divisions: Patrol, Investigative and Administrative. The Patrol Division manages all uniformed patrol operations and specialty units, such as SWAT, K9, River Patrol, QRT, and the UAV teams. The Investigative Division comprises the Detective Bureau, Narcotics Unit, Intelligence operations, and TCIT, responsible for conducting in-depth criminal investigations. The Administrative Division oversees day-to-day operations including Community Policing, Information Technology, Fleet, Officer Wellness, and Records Management.
